letters

i finally got down to writing letters to manta-ray, gopher, and xilver. cool. had them delivered. hope xilver doesn't get the manta-ray, and vice-versa. lazy day. stupid day, raining all day long. listened to damien rice, and the lyrics' actually disturbing.

went out with mum to outram to buy some herbs. haha. anyway, thought of something cool. the economy is an ecosystem, with producers and consumers filling different niches. arh well. been there done that. anyway...

today, i wrote letters to friends.
first the intent, then the thoughts, then the words,
in an envelope sent not-so-faraway, a measure of friendship unmeasurable.

never forgotten, we always said,
but never was a word said or heard.
and fate pushes all of us so far away,
how will we get together again?

so i wait, like i waited for so many things,
for fate to twist, to knot, to tie,
for things to turn back is impossible,
but for just a figment to be felt,
its not to much to ask for, is it?

to hear the laughter and the words,
how long will it all take?
for life to come, and time to past.

remember your friends, and hope the wait is not too long.
