the first post in 2009! scary things for the year ahead

I commit the next year unto the Lord.

Some things to pray about:

1. I got so convicted about writing and Singapore, that I think I'm gonna write until something happens, write till my hands bleed or things to that extent. Writing until change happens, and knowing that the basis of change is LOVE.

2. Next year might somehow also be barren. I'm not sure in what sense, but I feel that it'll be another year of preparation, as how Moses wondered in the desert...

3. Why am I a connector? Why am I able to stand at the middle point, connecting positions of OPPOSING perspectives?

On another note, as a note to myself, when we become MORE successful, I hope to be able to throw a dinner banquet for friends and teachers from the sec class! Book a ballroom, book the Singapore Flyer, maybe... But this dream might take a while...
